Oh Canada!!! My home and native land.

Just a quick one. So, in Korea - kilometres and kilometres (I have to patriotic in this and not succumb to the influence of United Statesians) away from my home and native land I did more for Canada Day in the line of going out and celebrating at night than I think I ever have before. Sarah, the girl from Sackville (oh, and SarahB, or R for that matter - if you're reading this there's a ton of Sarah's here and pretty much all but one of them is from the maritimes) hosted a Canada Day party at her house. I went out to it, got to meet a bunch of fellow Canadians, along with some Brits, Irish, an Aussie and a couple of Americans and coated myself (okay, not coated - I had one tatoo, a pin and about 5 or 6 stickers) with Canadian paraphenelia. - I think that's spelled wrong, I think a lot of stuff in this is. Already I'm beginning to lose my English, my ability to speak properly formed sentences. You should hear some of the other English teachers - it's crazy. I don't want to lose my grasp of the English language! I will overcome. . . Tangent.
After the house party we went to a Canadian owned bar, I met more of my brethren and we continued with the celebrations of our wonderful country. I ended up staying out much later than I should have or really wanted to but all in all it was a good time.

I'm glad that you were able to celebrate Canada Day with some fellow Canadians. It sounds like you have been having some awesome experiences. You're so brave, I just thought that I don't think I could be doing this at all in another country where I couldn't speak the language. So you go girl!
Love you! Sarah (B.)
